This majestic vintage 70 's chandelier from Italy is a modern interpretation
by Murano glass Artisans of the traditional Venetian parchment
animal hide shades seen in the old palaces of the Doges,
blown instead in a mother of pearl -like rainbow iridescent,
semi translucent, mottled milky and transparent glass.

The glass shades have a bat wing shape that is modern, and yet Deco like.
The sheer number of shades on this piece gives it the look of
a flower with many pedals. Yet it is also a creature of flight.
The gold and black lacquer finish gives a masculine touch to
the otherwise feminine chandelier.

The bottom plate holding the Murano glass finishes the overall
form with a arrow like point.

The chandelier is new,/old stock, in excellent condition.
The chandelier checked by our technician, and handles
p pieces of E -14 Candelabra based bulbs
